Friday 12th December is ONE WAY YOUTH - at Terrigal Uniting Church
(380 Terrigal Drive Terrigal) 

ONE WAY is a combined youth event feat. Revive and Jonnday. Also Skate demos, horizontal bungy, jumping castle, BBQ, 2 stages, merch tent + lots more.

Sounds like fun, we won’t be there to supervise but we’re sure there will be lots of supervision provided. Tickets are $10 @ door.

^ However if you go to ONE WAY… make sure you can still come to the next night….

… we’re spending three days together, camping in tents with no electricity, getting to know each other and growing closer to God.

Fuel + Ignition are back! New leaders are on board… and a fantastic new program is being used.

This year we will be studying from a series of books from Tim Hawkins .

Fuel is our Sunday Morning group for High School aged students in Years 7 and 8. This year Fuel will be lead by Ross and Jacob along with others. They will be looking at the “Growing Young Disciples” series by Tim Hawkins designed for junior high - starting with Book One “Discovering Jesus.”

Ignition is our Sunday Morning group for High School aged students in Years 9 - 12. This year, Ignition will be lead by Kay and Bronwyn, along with others. They will be looking at the “Discipleship Training” series by Tim Hawkins designed for senior high - starting with Book One “My New Life.”

On the 8th of Feb, 2008 we had an AWESOME trivia night. We were split into 4 teams named “The Illumin8 Posse,” “Paige 214,” “The Team,” and “Ice tea.”  Each team had to create a “war cry” for a chance to win bonus points.

Marg had prepared a bumper night of trivia questions, physical challenges and wild cards. The questions ranged from old and new testament trivia, women of the bible, biblical authors and recipients. Questions took the form of multiple choice, true or false, and speed rounds.

 Some of the hilarious physical challenges included “Who can hold a mouthful of ‘eno’ and water in their mouth for longest?” “Who can suck a cup of jelly through a straw the fastest?” “Who can put on a frozen T-Shirt?” “Who can knock a loaded pantyhose of your opponents head using your own head pantyhose?” … and “Who can blow up a balloon until it bursts with a mouthful of weetbix.” There are some funny pics to come..
