This week Saturday 8th November, 2008 is the Church men’s fishing trip.

Boys if you haven’t registered but are interested, let me know (ross@illumin8.org.au). EVERYONE (i.e girls and families) are invited to join the men for lunch at Woy Woy at 1pm.

That night (8/11) some of us will be heading down to ‘Lifegate’ (Padstow Church of Christ) for the ”Undaground” concert featuring Lukas, Modern Joy (local band) and Sam’s Permission! The concert goes from 7-11pm and only cost $10. We will need to leave the coast by 5pm and won’t be back until 12:30-1am but it should be a great night. Please let Ross know NOW if you’re interested so we can arrange transport.

illumin8 are leaving behind the internets, tv and modern luxuries !!

… we’re spending three days together, camping in tents with no electricity, getting to know each other and growing closer to God.

sleeping bag + pillow + teddy bear, towel  + shower stuff to keep dry and clean, clothes to keep warm at night, beach towel + swimmers, folding chair to sit on, sunscreen + aeroguard, torch, games (e.g cards to play), sport + fishing stuff, money for fish + chips to eat, Bible to read, ukulele or musical instrument
